Meet the Dosts
(IT’S PRONOUNCED LIKE COST WITH A ‘D’)About Amy
I’ve always wanted a job that is active, artistic, and gives back to people.
This lead to me to grad school for prosthetics. I was casting and sculpting, constantly moving around in the lab, and there’s no doubt making limbs gives back. But life happens and our paths change. I didn’t think I would find something that fit me as well as prosthetics. But wedding photography is it.
Seeing people cry with joy at their photos reminds me I’m still helping people in a way. And I’m as happy watching a bride walk down the aisle as I was watching a child walk on a prosthesis for the first time.

About Tyler
Ugh I can’t write about the guy without gushing over him. Tyler is absolutely vibrant. He is playful and adventurous and always up for trying something new. He cares as deeply as I do about our couples and is constantly coming up with new ways to make wedding days better for them.
Tyler is the Wayne Gretzky of wrangling family members for photos and is a master at getting couples laughing and loosened up. He is so genuinely himself that I think it’s impossible for others to not be themselves around him. He’s a scientist so I tend to see him as a STEM guy, but then I go through his pictures and wonder how he isn’t running the show on wedding days. His compositions are stunning and his creativity never gets stale. He is a huge part of this process and the flow of the day comes so naturally working together.

T.Hanks!
Before we were engaged, Tyler would correct people when they referred to me as his wife. Every time he did this, I would photoshop Tom Hanks’s face over Tyler’s in a photo. Tyler finally proposed, but the tradition lives on.
