Grand Tradition Estate | A Garden Oasis Wedding Venue in Fallbrook, California
Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens | Fallbrook, Ca
I love wedding venues with greenery. Lush jungles, tree canopies, the way the sunlight shines through a dense batch of trees. Of course moving to Temecula was a little concerning because it’s pretty much a desert. So when I first saw Grand Tradition Estate and Gardens in Fallbrook, it felt like home. Or at least what I always imagined home to be. It is the perfect wedding venue for lovers of nature and light.

This ceremony took place at the Arbor Terrace, surrounded by trees with a rushing waterfall in the background. There is just enough of an opening above the space to let in some light, as well as let the drone get a bird’s eye view of the ceremony.
Usually a 3pm ceremony in November after the clocks change would concern me, but the best photo spots were all very accessible and bright. Additionally, the team at Grand Tradition helped to make sure everything ran on schedule while adapting to changes if we needed them.

Sometimes too many trees can lead to dark photos, but instead, the flora at Grand Tradition Estate filters the light perfectly. I can honestly say the sunset there was the best light I have ever experienced at a venue. When the sun set fully, the venue became a beautifully lit hidden forest with a party in the center.

The reception took place under Grand Tradition’s tent at the Arbor Terrace Pavilion. The white tent helps keep photos bright and doesn’t cast unflattering colors onto people’s skin the way some locations do.
There are multiple chandeliers hanging from the tent’s ceiling, as well as linens, florals, and fairy lights courtesy of Finishing Touch Weddings. Finishing Touch works at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens all the time and their expertise in it shows. The table setups, florals, pretty much everything you see here was done by them.

The tent had the perfect location for the dance floor and a million little spots to run away to if you were to want some alone time or nighttime photos. Of course we took advantage of that. Then, at the end of the night guests were cleared out to prepare for the grand exit while the couple did their last dance alone.
Despite photographing this wedding for 11 hours, I could have stayed for 11 more. The waterfalls, the lush nature, the decor, the ceremony space— everything was magic. It was the perfect place to get married.
